The Uganda Examination Board has clarified confusions over schools earlier reported to have not registered students for the forth coming Uganda certificate Examinations.
The board had reported that due to exam malpractice, three schools had their centre numbers withdrawn and therefore had not registered candidates this year.
Schools included Loreta ss in Mukono, Mivule ss Bukatata and Booma International school in Mbarara.
However, in a new statement by the boards executive secretary Dan Odongo said, that two schools, Booma international school and Mivule secondary school were mistakenly indicated to be among the schools which had not registered the candidates.
The board confirms that candidates of these two schools were duly registered and will be able to sit for their exams come monday next week.
‘It was a computer error, we apologize for the confusions caused.” Odongo said.
