The government of Uganda has reaffirmed its independence even as US prepares for a power transition.

This comes at a time when Americans are waiting to transfer power from the current Depresident, Barrack Obama to Republican’s Donald Trump who won presidential elections on Wednesday defeating Hillary Clinton.
It should be noted that during,US presidential elections, the now president elect,Trump warmed African despotic leaders that he will remove them from power especially Uganda’s Yoweri Museveni and Zimbabwe’s Robert Mugabe.
According to state minister for foreign affairs in charge of international relations,Okello Oryem, regardless if ruling countries like America,Uganda will remain a sovereign state with the actual power to manage it’s internal affairs.
“One thing about Uganda is that we do not succumb to any country including USA period. They are partners, they are friends but when it comes to interfering with the internal affairs of a country, they have no right to interfere.” Said Oryem.
