Saturday night was full of sadness among Ugandans as Uganda Cranes is kicked out of African Cup of Nations by the Pharaohs of Egypt.

Cranes’ strong defensive tactics were paralyzed by Egypt in the last minutes thus filling in a spectacular goal which most Ugandans will live to remember as the goal which shuttered their dream of advancing to the next stage.

The national team did its best but we should speculate that it wasn’t Cranes day.

According to Uganda Cranes Micho, they tried their best but it wasn’t  enough.

“We tried our best but unfortunately it was not enough,” said “Micho” after Abdallah El Said’s 89th-minute strike, from a Mohamed Salah assist, gave Egypt a 1-0 win in the Group D encounter in Port-Gentil.

On its first game on Tuesday , Uganda was defeated by Ghana in a 1:0 goal difference and yesterday it was also edged by Egypt meaning it doesn’t have any chance ahead.
