City tycoon Ham Kiggundu of Ham Enterprises has finally won a contract to re-develop Nakivubo stadium after various halts from opposing parties.

The restructuring plans to revamp the stadium into a modern state of the art sports complex have already been handed over to the young tycoon.

Internal reports show that the restructuring board chaired by Godfrey Ssetimba Mabiriizi confirmed deal and expects Ham to soon call a press conference to break down the restructuring program and how it is going to affect the surrounding traders as well when the restructuring will start.

According to the plan presented to president Museveni by Ham in 2015, the stadium will contain various sports equipments for all games, shops and a spacious parking which can facilitate almost 1000 cars.

For the past years, Nakivubo stadium has been in a sorry state as well as much indebted by Uganda Revenue Authority over failure to pay taxes year after year.
