Straka Mwezi was television queen in early 2000s, but her star slowly lost its earlier fire, yet she has kept in there, doing her thing.

However, yesterday Straka went out to declare she was considering to throw in the towel as the management for WBS which is under receivership, have notified her that she can continue working but for free, something the ever in debt Straka cannot do.

The tv show queen has worked for WBS for 14 years and feels under pressure to abandon the show she loves so dearly since it keeps her in the game.

Below is her message for her fans on Facebook:
After serving WBS for over 14years, management opts to potion a dose of its crisis to my fans, my callers and my viewership. With no notice of any kind, my show (Late Show) is subjected to a forceful closure, forceful in a sense that management is forcing me to sign a commitment, that I run the show but with no pay!!!!!!!! Really!!!!!! This is an unjust and ill-treatment, not to me STRAKA, but to my fans, callers viewers and advitisers but in these 14 years of TV experience I’ve seen a lot of break downs and break throughs and the storm has never stopped me from bringing out the best in me and I promise it’s not about to!!!. So I plead with my fans friends and family not to give up even when feel so pushed against the wall, Stay strong take heart #StarTaffa #KijyaKugwa #GodStrong #TeamStrakaWanji
