Traffic jam has engulfed all streets of Kampala city as opposition leader Kizza Besigye is produced to the High court where his bail application will be heard.

Some roads have been closed in what authorities say is to guarantee security in the city.

On Monday, opposition supporters expect their leader Kizza Besigye to be released.

Besigye was arrested in Kampala two months ago on the eve of President Museveni’s inauguration.

He was taken to Moroto where he was charged with treason. However, he was relocated to Luzira maximum prison over his personal security.
