The Wales international winger reportedly wants parity with the Portugal captain, with both players currently in the process of negotiating new contracts at the Bernabeu.

Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale will demand that the club offer him the same £750k-a-week wages as Cristiano Ronaldo, according to The Times .

The Wales winger is reportedly in the process of negotiating a new deal with Zinedine Zidane’s side but is expecting to join Ronaldo in earning £20m-a-year after tax, a £260k-a-week increase on his current net salary.

Bale has scored three goals in six league appearances at the start of the 2016-17 campaign, with Madrid currently second in the Liga table, trailing city rivals Atletico on goal difference.
