Andrew Rugasira’s Good African coffee cafe will be opened at every Total fuel station.
“This morning, after 18 months of discussions, Good African Cafes signed a Partnership Agreement with TOTAL Uganda (Florentin de Loppinot, MD & Jean-Christian Bergeron, VP East & Central Africa) to put Coffee Corners and Coffee Shops in all TOTAL Petrol Stations across the country. We celebrate this partnership and the opportunity it brings to our farmers, customers and brand,” said Rugasira who is challenging Olive Kigongo for president of the Uganda national chamber of commerce.
Good African coffee cafe which was at Lugogo shopping mall will spread across the country with the new deal as Total builds convenience places at its stations to match Shell’s business model.
Shell rolled out the business model which had put restaurant and supermarkets at fuel stations to makes their customers spend less time on shopping, fueling and meals during rush hours.
Rugasira is the biggest individual winner as his brand will spread across the country.
The deal was announced in Mukono where Total opened a modern fuel station on Kayunga road.
