Police have in custody a security guard who reportedly shot and injured his colleague in Ndeeba.

The guard identified as Bosco Eyoko (25) deployed by KPI Security Services Limited shot his colleague Judith Ayugi as she guarded Baki Auto Dealers.

After committing the crime on October 10, 2018, Eyoko then abandoned his SAR riffle, fled the scene and went into hiding.

Through coordination with various stake holders, the suspect was arrested and confessed to having shot his colleague claiming his riffle was faulty.

Eyoku is currently detained at Mukono Police Station on charges of attempted murder vide CRB1673/2018 as investigations into the matter are still ongoing.

Meanwhile, the victim whose femor bone got shattered was rushed to Mulago Trumor Ward for medical attention. The doctors have confirmed she is out of danger and is steadily healing.
