Parliament’s public accounts committee (PAC) is set to start its public health tour which is aimed at assessing the condition of public health centres across the country.

The tour shall enable the committee to find ways in which they will demand value for money and service delivery from accounting officers.

PAC members shall start from western Uganda especially from the hospitals in Hoima, Fortportal and Mbarara before proceeding to the East.
Ntugamo municipality MP Gerald Karuhanga said that as PAC they discovered that a lot needs to be done so as to improve public health, that’s why they are going to visit hospitals in different regions of Uganda.
