Over 100,000 students are set to sit for the upcoming Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) exams across the country slated to kickoff tomorrow on Monday.
According to the Executive Secretary of the Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB), Dan Odong, 104,361 registered for the 2016 examinations of which 61,834 are male and 42,527 are female.
He notes that the students will sit the exams from 1,887 centres amidst heavy supervision. Over 700 scouts and about 8,000 invigilators are to be deployed to monitor the exams.
Odong warns all headteachers, heads of centres, parents and candidates against involving themselves in any form of malpractice.
