Protesters have taken over the streets in many cities across the United States, a day after Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton. Demonstrations have taken place in New York, Chicago, San Francisco and even outside the White House in Washington D.C. Protesters are holding placards protesting against the incoming president and his policies as per statements made throughout the heated campaign season.
Speaking of his policies, Trump during campaigns promised to ban all Muslims and deport all non Americans from the US. Now all his videos containing controversial statements have been deleted from his website. In his victory speech, the 70-year-old said he will be a president of all Americans.
According to his rival Hillary Clinton, US President-elect Donald Trump must be given a chance to lead.
Appearing in public for the first time since conceding, the Democrat said she hoped Mr Trump would be a successful president for all Americans.
