The leaders of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) have called on the people of the Lango region to support the ruling party in the upcoming elections. They believe that re-electing the NRM will allow the government to complete the ongoing development projects in the area.
The NRM team, led by Dr. Tanga Odoi, the chairman of the party’s Electoral Commission, made the appeal during a visit to Dokolo district yesterday, 27/09/2024. The team was touring the Lango subregion to assess the progress of several government programs, such as the Fisheries Protection Unit (FPU), the Parish Development Model, Emyooga, and road construction, among others.
Dr. Tanga Odoi expressed satisfaction with the steady progress of these initiatives. He noted that the projects are on the right track and promised that if the NRM government is re-elected for another five years, the work will continue without interruption.
“The ongoing projects are crucial for the development of this region,” Dr. Tanga said. “We need your support in the next elections so that we can see these initiatives through to completion.”
The NRM leaders hope that their appeal will encourage the people of Lango to back the ruling party in the next elections, ensuring the continued growth and development of the region.
