Eng. Andrew Mwase, former president of Twegaite International in the diaspora, has been instrumental in uniting Ugandans in America. He is a donor and board member of Grace Villa Kabale, a prominent figure in the Ugandan diaspora. Eng. Andrew has been instrumental in organizing the Ordination of the Kyabazinga of Busoga, spearheading the construction of a Cancer center in Jinja, providing assistance to Jinja regional Referral Hospital, and establishing Hospice Jinja. He is also a major influencer in Kagulu tourism and Miss Uganda tourism.
Ambassador Francis Nkuusa, the first to declare support for the MK movement in the Diapora, disorganized opposition and joined Eng. Andrew and formed a concrete team to promote the MK movement. They transformed areas like Kyandondo and Kitezi, affecting many Ugandans’ lives and providing them with diaspora jobs. Eng. Andrew and Ambassador Nkuusa have preached the PLU initiative, inspiring many Ugandans to join the movement.
Eng. Andrew and Ambassador Nkuusa have worked collaboratively with Comrade the national vice chairman Micheal Kaguta Nuwagira (Toyota) and several leaders of the PLU. They have challenged the leadership of NUP in the diaspora and showcased the exemplary leadership and vision of General MK. NUP and other opposition people respect them and are always battling them.
Despite their efforts, Eng. Andrew and Ambassador Nkuusa are not selected to lead diaspora affairs, which would be a significant loss for the PLU. However, they continue their efforts with their team and will always work with guidance from General MK.
