Bulambuli Deputy Resident District Commissioner (D/RDC) Amir Kamba has warned lazy and incompetent civil servants in the district that they will be dealt with accordingly.
Mr Kamba’s warning follows his monitoring and mobilisation drive of government programs in Kamu sub county where he made an imprompt visit at the sub county offices on Tuesday 5th April, 2022.
The D/RDC found the offices open but with no one inside.
“I found the offices empty with no officials on duty from 2pm to 4pm.A neighbor from nearby told me that someone opened the offices in the morning and went away immediately,” Mr Kamba noted.
“I looked for the chairperson who also was absent at the time and I left a message directing him to summon all technical staff members and leaders of subcounty not later Friday 8/4/2022.The Chief Administrative Officer was notified of what transpired,” he added.
The D/RDC also visited Kamunda Primary School and here he found the business going on well.
Mr Kamba met the school Deputy Headmistress and the two had a fruitful engagement. He emphasized the need for teachers to embrace government programs if they are to alleviate themselves from poverty.
