The Kabale District water officer, Patience Aharinta, also noted that the works to extend Ikamiro gravity flow to the health centre, are expected to cost 90million shillings. The funds for the two projects have been got from the ministries of Health and Water and Environment respectively.
The construction of the twin staff house will be undertaken by Famdeck technical services limited while the extension of water from Ikamiro gravity flow scheme too will be done by DACOS construction Limited and works are expected to be complete in a period of three months.

The Kabale Resident District Commissioner, Godfrey Nyakahuma, who presided over the commissioning of the two projects, asked the local leaders to supervise works at both sites and report any cases of shoddy work so that the culprits are apprehended and dealt with accordingly.
