Police in Kabale district is investigating circumstances under which a 40 year old man was found murdered at Nyakijumba along Kabale-Mbarara road.
Fred Taremwa, who’s a mechanic at mwanjari business center was found murdered on Saturday morning with serious injuries on his head.
The deceased is a resident of Bugandara Village, Kyanamira parish, Kyanamira sub county, Kabale district.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the deceased left home on Friday afternoon to work as usual and never reported back home.
He was today morning discovered dead by a workmate identified as Ronald Karimunda on his way to work lying in a pool of blood along Mbarara Kabale road.
Elly Maate,the Kigezi regional police spokesperson has confirmed that some witnesses have recorded statements and the body has been handed over to relatives for burial.
“Inquiries are going on to ascertain what could be the motive of the alleged murder and to have the suspects arrested,” Maate said.
