Brig Gen Chris Bbosa on Wednesday officially took over office as Uganda’s Defence Attache to China.
He took over from Brig Gen Emmanuel Rwashande.
“The UPDF Chief of Staff Land Forces MajGen Leopold Kyanda has presided over the Hand/Take Over ceremony of the office of the Defence Attache’ to the Peoples’ Republic of China from Brig Gen Emmanuel Rwashande to Brig Gen Chris Bbosa,” UPDF Spokesperson Brig Gen Flavia Byekwaso tweeted.
Maj Gen kyanda thanked the Outgoing Defence Attaché Brig Gen Rwashande for uplifting Uganda’s image both militarily and economically to the people of China and world over.
He emphasized that the role of a Defence Attache’ is to reciprocate military diplomacy at any given opportunity for peace and stability to progress.
Brig Gen Chris Bbosa, was serving as the UPDF Acting Chief of Training and Recruitment.
