Steven Dunstan Busuulwa has worked for 89.6FM, Top Radio and Television for many years, almost 15; as journalist, producer, presenter and manager.
Monday, June 8 2020, however was unlike other days.
He hosted his show Okwatibwaako on Top Radio with President Museveni’s senior advisor on media, Tamale Mirundi which runs every Monday 6.30 to 8pm. However this time round, he sounded to be in a hurry by 7.30pm.
After rushing through motor-mouthed Mirundi, Busuulwa at 7.30pm said that he had just hosted his last show on Top Radio. He wished himself success wherever he goes. However, reports indicate he could be headed for CBSfm.
Tamale Mirundi, a man gifted with a gab, however, didn’t say a thing. Maybe the news hit him like thunder. It is not clear if he was prepared for the news. The Truth is, he enjoyed the shows on Top Radio with Busuulwa, who had first stepped down from television, where also he had a talk show.
We are yet to establish the reason for Busuulwa’s departure. However in the recent past, the media franchise owned by Pastor Jackson Ssenyonga, has been going through a number of restructuring as he consolidates and expands his church ministry.
