Celebrated media personal Douglas Lwanga has commented about the ongoing rumors of him quitting Next Media’s Nbs TV for a new job.
Lwanga has been working with Next media for two years now, hosting the countdown show on Nxt Radio, co-hosting the Ketchup and After5 show on Nbs TV, but social media gossips recently alleged that he is eyeing a bigger deal somewhere.
However, during the Nbs After5 show on Wednesday, Lwanga claimed that he is still not sure about this said new job which has got people talking.
“People are saying that I am leaving Nbs TV for some new job, but I don’t know anything about that job, I only see this stuff online. But please, I am not leaving Nbs, I am still an employee of Next media,” he said.
It was said that the Purple Party CEO was given an irresistible deal by a new media house where he will be working as its production manager, and that when all legal requirements are settled, it shouldn’t be a surprise seeing Lwanga’s ‘bye bye’ post.
To make matters worse, it all came at a moment when Nbs if facing a hard moment as many of its senior media personalities who include Solomon Sserwanja, Sheila Tusiime Mugisha, Raymond Mujuni, Joseph Sabiti among others quitting the station.
However, Lwanga assured that he isn’t going anywhere, at least not now.
