Bobi Wine secures major boost as singer Ndugga returns to People Power

People Power leader Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu has pulled a master stroke against his bitter rival, President Museveni as he repossessed his former loyal cadre Hassan Ndugga from Museveni’s National Resistance Movement.
Ndugga, a seasoned critic of President Museveni, through his music, shocked the country last month when he publicly announced he had crossed to the ruling NRM, defecting Kyagulanyi’s People Power.
During the President’s trek, in which he was commemorating the bush war days, the Kadongokamu songster showered Museveni with endless praises, and apologised for having taken long to see the light. He even went on to record a song for the President, explaining how he thought Uganda was in safe hands under President Museveni owing to his enormous wealth of experience.
In a surprise twist of events, the singer has announced his return to People Power, which has refered to as his home, saying he has been haunted ever since he left.
This follows a call the legislator from Magere made to the Bintu bizibu star.
Using the metaphor of a married woman, Ndugga said he had decided to go back to her old marriage, because the new husband had failed to full fill his promises to him.
” If a man promises you something in exchange for leaving your marriage and two months pass minus doing anything, what would you do if your old man calls,” Ndugga said, defending his decision to mend fences with his long time friend from Kyadondo.
Explaining why he had left the red political Camp, the man from Kyaggwe says he wanted to see how much his People Power membership was valued and now that his comrade had called, he was left with no option but to obey.
Ndugga has promised he will never again be tempted to desert Bobi Wine and asked for forgiveness from the public.
