City businessman Andrew Kananura Kagonyera known as Desh has responded to accusations that he beats his wife Sheila Taratibu.

On Wednesday, Emmy Kwizera, Kananura’s brother-in-law alleged that the proprietor of Panamera Bar is a very violent man who beats his wife whenever he gets chance.

“Andrew Desh Kananura you are the brother I admired till this day. Please stop beating my sister and traumatizing her children…enough is enough…I have decided to put my foot down. My sister was raised with loving parents and loving siblings she doesn’t need to be treated this way,” Kwizera angrily told Kananura in a leaked whatsapp conversation.

He further warned the businessman that next time he wants to beat his sister, he should instead fight with him.

“The next time you want to lay a hand on a woman , find me at Panamera waiting for you. Bring all your guns you claim you have in your closet but enough is enough, my sister and my family have loved you from day one but this not how you treat us period. Enough is enough ,no man is allowed to beat a woman , I am ready to go to the grave for this,” Kwizera said.

However in his response, Kananura has said that his brother-in-law is just angry because he refused him to take his [Desh] children out without his permission.

“It is unfortunate that a disagreement with my brother-in-law Emmy ended up on social media. I instructed  Emmy to never take my children out without my permission and barred him from accessing my children for now,” said Kananura in a Facebook post on Thursday.

Adding, “That triggered an argument which has caused ripples in my marriage and now has moved to social media and now very distorted.”

The tycoon also revealed that together with his wife, they are trying to put back the broken pieces back thus asking the general public to respect their privacy.

“My wife and I are now trying to put pieces back together and so we request that the public respect our privacy as any more than two people is a crowd. Thank you.”
