A man has been arrested for breaking into a house in Najjera during the day and stealing property worth millions of shillings.
According to the officer in charge of Najjera Police Station, the Chairperson, LCI Bulabila Mr. Med Nsubuga informed police that ‘a thug was arrested at the house of Nakissa James in Bulabila Kamwanyi zone.
Nakissa then narrated that when he took his children back home afrom school at about 2.45pm, he was met by a silver grey Toyota Wish number UAZ 174Z that was moving out of his gate.
“There was also another man not known to me standing inside the compound but he was communicating to someone inside the house,” Nakissa narrated.
He then asked the man who was driving the vehicle identify himself.
“He told me he was called Kayiza Yasin,” Nakissa said.
When the other two thugs heard Nakissa introducing himself as the owner of the home, they jumped over the perimeter fence leaving their colleague who was driving the car behind and he was arrested and the car impounded.
The suspect is detained at Najjera Police Station on charges of House breaking and theft,” police said.
