The Kawempe Division Deputy Resident City Commissioner (RCC) Deborah Nabukenya is dead.
It is not yet clear what caused her death but according to reports, Nabukenya fell ill on Tuesday morning and was rushed to Mengo Hospital later in the evening as her condition worsened, forcing medics to place her on a medical ventilator.
“Just got disturbing news from @harderHB (Herbert Anderson, the deputy Resident City Commissioner Kampala – Nakawa) about the death of an active young and brilliant youth leader the Deputy RDC of Kawempe Deborah. Just in Pain about this young girl,” Information Minister, Frank Tumwebaze tweeted on Tuesday evening.
