David Ebanget Etoru has on Thursday morning testified against Godfrey ‘Troy’ Wamala.
Troy is accused of killing singer Moses Ssekibogo aka Mowzey Radio after a brawl at De Bar, a popular hangout in Entebbe Town, Wakiso District on January 22, 2018.
He died of head injuries at Case Hospital in Kampala on February 1, 2018.,
Ebanget, popularly known as Producer Washington told a High Court session in Entebbe presided over by Lady Justice Jane Francis Abodo that on the fateful night, Troy grabbed the deceased and threw him on the ground.
“Radio got a bottle of whisky and poured it in all the glasses on the table. He was at first he was happy but after he became angry. He lifted up the table and all glasses fell down,” Washington testified.
They were later on told to leave the bar. on their way out, there was a bit of a scuffle.
“Troy came from the back shouting, grabbed the deceased and threw him down,” Ebanget said.
Troy allegedly took off and hid in Kyengera until February 4, 2018 when he handed himself to police when Radio had died.
