Pastor Augustine Yiga of Revival Church, Kawaala has poured out his heart to Faridah Nakazibwe, an NTV and Spark TV personality.
Yiga, made his maiden appearance on Mwasuze Mutya show to explain that he was pleased about the invitation because he had a number of things to clarify.
The Abizaayo pastor castigated fellow pastor, Jackson Ssenyonga who attacks him as a false prophet and witch doctor, saying, he was envious of the success the Kawaala based church is enjoying.
Yiga accused fellow pastors, particularly Ssenyonga of stage managing people who accuse him of rape and siring children.
“I have never seen the girls they accuse me of raping,” Yiga said on Friday morning, adding that he does his counselling in an open place inside his Church.
Yiga also admitted that he charges between Shs100,000 and Shs200,000 to people who go for his counselling sessions, challenging his critics why anyone who pay that amount if they found no value in what he does.
The pastor also spoke about the death rumours early this year, saying, it was done by a social Media administrator who had decamped to Pastor Ssenyonga’s church.
“I decided to return from South Africa after the death rumours to save my reputation,” Yiga said, explaining that he has worked so hard for his name.
The preacher who was jailed at Kawempe police for three days however said he was going to sue a number of people who have been involved in blackmailing him including a law firm, we cannot name here, who were representing one of the women who accused Yiga of impregnating her.
The Abizaayo preacher however said they made peace with Maggie Kayima, a musician who fell out with his church and was later exposed on Yiga’s ABS TV as practitioner of witchcraft. However Yiga regretted that programme, saying on second thought, it should not have aired on television.
