National Resistance Movement (NRM) top leaders under the Central Executive Committee (CEC) have today kicked off their five day retreat at Chobe Safari Lodge in Nwoya District.
The retreat is running under the theme ‘”Building on solid achievements, consolidating the unity of NRM and transformation of wanainchi towards achieving vision 2040’.
The leaders will discuss among others the party’s constitutional amendments.
“Notice is hereby given that a retreat of the Central Executive Committee from Friday February 15, 2019 to Wednesday February 20, 2019 at Chobe Safari Lodge to consider the following thematic areas: ideology and strategy, the economy, constitutional amendments and resource mobilisation,” President Yoweri Museveni told all the seven NRM Vice chairpersons in a February 7 letter.
