Youth have been advised to be passionate about sports and remain disciplined if they are to succeed in their lives. The call was made by the Kabale municipality Member of Parliament Andrew Baryayanga Aja on Wednesday.
Baryayanga made the revelations as a guest of honor at the yearly Aja Cup competitions in the Kabale Municipal stadium.
“Discipline and passion in sports leads to success,” Baryayanga told the youth, adding that they could live off their talents if they remain passionate about them.
He quoted the likes of Stephen Kiprotich, Denis Onyago and other Ugandan sports stars that have earned a lot from sports.
The Aja Cup competitions attracted over 16 teams from within Kabale municipality.
Kabale Central division won the trophy for both male and female categories.
