Three candidates have today been interviewed for the post of Chief Executive Officer, Uganda Tourism Board (UTB).
One of Andrew Seguya , Lilly Ajarova and Bradford Ochieng is set to replace Dr. Stephen Asiimwe who has showed no interest in having his contract renewed.
Today they are expected to sit for oral interviews, according to a December 14 letter signed by Dr Godfrey Mbabazi, the secretary of Public Service Commission.
Seguya is the former Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) Executive Director; Ajarova is the current executive director of Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary and Wildlife Conservation Trust whereas Ochieng is the director of corporate affairs at Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Authority.
According to Daily Monitor, Asiimwe was reportedly advised not to re-apply because he had not met UTB’s objectives during his tenure while others claimed he tendered in his resignation months back because he is going for further studies abroad.
