Brian Bagyenda, the son to Internal Security Organisation (ISO) boss Col Frank Bagyenda Kaka is expected to appear in High Court today for a plea bargain.
Last week, Bagyenda pleaded guilty of murdering his girlfriend Enid Twijukye, a former student at Ndejje University.
He made the plea before Justice Anthony Ayu and asked for a lenient sentence.
Justice Ayu adjourned the session to Monday (today) to allow both Prosecution and Defence meet and report to her the progress of their talks.
Bagyenda, a pharmacist by profession had appeared along with his two co-accused Innocent Bainomugisha 24, a cleaner and Vincent Rwahwire 28, a casual labourer.
Prosecution alleges that the accused, on January 4, 2017, at Njobe Road plot 2, Luzira, Nakawa division in Kampala district, with malice aforethought, unlawfully caused the death of Twijukye.
She was murdered and her body dumped in Namanve, Mukono District. Twijukye lived with her sister in Namugongo, Kira Municipality, Wakiso District.
On January 18th, Police arrested Bagyenda and his co-accused after telephone printouts from the mobile phone of the deceased showed that he was the last person to speak to Twijukye before she disappeared mysteriously from her home.
