Jennifer Musisi has on Friday, December 14, signed out of office, ending seven years as the head of Kampala Capital City Authority.
Although she has been lauded and credited for transforming the capital city, the minister for Kampala, Betti Kamya believes the outgoing executive director will not be missed.
At a weekly press conference at Uganda Media Centre on Thursday, Kamya said Musisi has left many people in the system who can run the system and perfectly fill her gap.
“As far as I know KCCA is going to continue serving the people of Kampala. Musisi has gone but for the meantime her deputy will perform the work she has been doing and I believe there no one will feel her absence,” the minister said.
According to Kamya there will no acting KCCA Executive Director until the President points a person in this position.
Musisi resigned on October 15.

However on October 15, she handed in her resignation before her third contract expired.
In the period of seven years she has led KCCA, a lot of success has been registered in both the authority itself and Kampala city.
