Police in Kabale is investigating circumstances under which a motor accident claimed the life of one person and left the other in coma.
On Wednesday at around 4:30 pm, motor vehicle registration number UAT 961Q Mitsubishi Fuso, being driven by Paul Kintu, a resident of Mulukwanga village in Wakiso district lost control and killed a woman of Rwanda decent.

It’s alleged that the driver was in company of the woman, only identified as Lucy, who died on spot He had picked her from Ntungamo town enroute to Kigali, Rwanda.
Police believe the vehicle had mechanical problems and lost control as it tried to navigate the sharp corners of Kyanamira -Kabaraga along Kabale road, about 4kms to Kabale town.
Elly Maate, the Kigezi region police spokesperson told Watchdog Uganda that the driver was carrying soap from VIGO company in Mukono to Kigali Rwanda.

Maate said the vehicle got damaged beyond repair. Kintu was rushed to Kabale Referral Hospital with deep cuts.
