On Monday, the police Marine department as well as well wishers tried to manually pull the wreckage of MV Templa from Lake Victoria.
And despite all their efforts, the boat, which capsized on Saturday with about 120 revellers onboard could barely move.
Now, the Uganda Police Construction Unit has brought its heavy machinery to pull out the wreckage, with the hope of finding bodies of missing persons believed to be trapped inside.
The tragedy, according to some Members of Parliament was due to negligence on the part of the Marine Unit.
