Recently renowned political commentator Basajja Mivule threw in the towel from NBS TV to join Jinja based Baba TV.
Mivule who was a panelist at the station’s ‘The Eagle show’ accused one of the hosts of being the invisible hand behind his decision to leave the Kamwokya based TV station.
“The reason why am not appearing on the EAGLE SHOW is entirely personal , Mr . Kin Kalisa and the entire NBS TV management are not in any way to blame , I know how much you miss me and you have the reason WHY , but am the one to blame for keeping you guessing for quite long . Any time I can go back because I’ve become part of NBS TV FAMILY , BUT HEAR THIS :- There’s a devil , a real snake which I can never work with again . He made my life miserable, he never wanted me and another panelist on that show . One day someone gave him only 50,000 /= to go on air and say that I went to statehouse , and Museveni gave me 8 millions , and that I was going back next week to pick the balance of 4 millions . He repeated it the following week , and again he repeated it the third week,” Mivule recently posted on his Facebook page,”
Now on his new job, Mivule has promised to expose the two institutions operating undercover to help President Yoweri Museveni to overstay in power.
“This Sunday , 25th , Nov’ 2018 – Time 5:00 pm at BABA TV ( watch it on Startimes and GoTv ) am going to tell the nation what I saw , what I heard plus the two institutions that are operating undercover to help the NRM PARTY to cling to power till Jesus comes back , yet one of these institutions deceives people that they’re fighting to remove Mr. MU7,” said Mivule
Adding, “According to the documents I read, I discovered that some of the opposition gurus we thought that they were moles are actually not moles , I was reading very fast because I had limited time for fear of being noticed , but some of the names of the people we always thought were part of us , their names are on the list of the friendly opposition members who are being rewarded periodically.”
However, the question is, will Mivule fulfill his promise of ‘fighting’ Museveni given the fact that his new employer is a loyal NRM cadre?
