About 7,000 students are expected to graduate at Kyambogo University’s 15th graduation ceremony, the institution’s Academic Registrar has confirmed.
Dr Ann Begumisa on Thursday said the students will be awarded degrees, diploma and certificates at a ceremony scheduled for Wednesday, December 12 to Friday 14.
Students from school of Management and Entrepreneurship will start the first phase on Wednesday 12, followed by faculty of Vocational Studies. On Thursday 13 is earmarked for students from Arts and Social Sciences. The ceremony will reach its pinnacle on Friday 14 when students from Faculty of Education, Sciences and Engineering will graduate.
According to Dr. Begumisa, registration and financial verification processes of all prospective grandaunds are ongoing.
“All respective faculties and bursar’s offices are working to make sure they all students complete the exercise by November, 30 2018,” she noted
Students will receive their academic transcripts on their graduation day in each phase, this practice started in last year’s 14th graduation.
