Following the disastrous havoc that hit Bududa district yesterday, President Museveni, through his twitter account, has promised that government is to find away to stop such disasters to happen any more.
“I have received the sad news of landslides wreaking havoc in Bududa District, killing a yet-to-be-specified number of residents but I want to ensure you that government will look at the other options available to stop further occurrences of these disasters,”he tweeted.
“The government has dispatched rescue teams to the affected areas. However, I urge residents to cooperate with authorities to mitigate possible further danger.
My condolences to those who have lost their dear ones in this catastrophe,” said the President.
