The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has confirmed that a new Uganda Cranes strip to be used starting with the AFCON Qualifier against Lesotho at home over the weekend.
FUFA, who had announced a kit design competition before the Cranes made their first AFCON appearance since 1978 in Gabon last year, looked through the different designs that had been forwarded by different competitors when the competition was opened.
The new kit will be launched on Wednesday morning with a couple of Cranes stars modelling in it.
“We confirm that on Wednesday Morning at Namboole, the Cranes new kit will be unveiled to the public” Ahmed Hussien, the federations spokesperson confirmed on the official FUFA website.
Uganda is preparing to face Lesotho in a double header with the first game being played on October 13 before a return leg three days later in Maseru.
