FUFA Drum Final Return Leg.
West Nile Vs Buganda.
(Buganda lead 1-0 on Agg).
The FUFA Drum final is 90 minutes away from determining a winner. Sixteen provinces started the competition but only two, Buganda and the West Nile provinces remain standing, West Nile though being on the back foot having lost the first leg 1-0.
For West Nile’s Brian Umony, the team is positive despite the first leg loss,
“Football is about concentration. We didn’t in the last minutes and we got punished in the first leg, but we’ve gotten over that, we believe we can turn the tide around at home”, Umony said in an exclusive interview with Watchdog Sports.
West Nile will rely on Umony’s experience. The striker, who has been a part of the team since the quarter finals, is just as excited as the rest of the players ahead of Saturday’s clash at the Green Light Stadium.
On the other hand, Buganda will be looking at consolidating on the 1-0 aggregate score they got from the first leg. Onduparaka winger Vianney Ssekajugo who notched the winning goal in added time will still be expected to help Buganda clinch the first edition of the FUFA Drum.
