The Uganda People Defense Force (UPDF) on Tuesday launched a new brand of condoms dubbed ‘Ulinzi’; a Swahili word which means “protection”.
The condom brand also carries a tagline, ‘Usiende Nyama Kwa Nyama’, meaning “don’t engage in live sex.”
Launching the new brand, the chief of staff in the Land forces Brig Leopold Kyanda at Bombo barracks play ground urged the servicemen to use the new brand to guard themselves against HIV/AIDS.
