Forum for Democratic Change Secretary General Nathan Nandala Mafabi has asked former party members loyal to retired General Mugisha Muntu to return all party property in their possession.
General Muntu, a former party president last week announced that he was to quit FDC.
Many party cadres sided with him. Now they are to return whatever belongs to the party, including among others, cups and a stamp.
The directive is contained in a letter to Kyazze Kasimu, the formal General Secretary of Makindye District.
“The Party has been notified of your quitting of Forum for Democratic Change (FDC). We appreciate your time with us and wish to inform you to hand over all party materials in your possession out of which include, though not limited to; check books, office stamp, desks, 12 cups, office chairs, tables office files,” Mafabi directs.
He adds, “I therefore call upon your cooperation as you hand over to the Makindye a chairperson Mr Kizito Livingstone and witnessed by Nabayozi Gertrude.”
Mr Kyazze and others have till Thursday, October 4 to hand over the said cups.
