Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu alias Bobi Wine has urged his supporters to shun violence and extremism.
While at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Gayaza, Bobi Wine told people that they should respect and be tolerant to each other’s views and beliefs.
“Pick lessons from the recent Arua Francis that left some of our colleagues dead and others nursing wounds. We should know that after all this, we remain the same people regardless of our jobs, religions or tribes. What matters is to lie and respect one another while tolerating each others views and beliefs,” he said.
He further advised leaders to stop classifying colours in terms of political parties.
“One time i wore red clothes and walked towards town., only to be saved by my friends who are boda boda riders. They warned me that if i don’t change the attire, i would be beaten, something i found unfair,”noted Bobi Wine.
