Multiple award winning artiste Eddy Kenzo seems to have read the mood right this time round and gone beyond his happy go lucky songs deciding to connect with the pain of fellow country men and outed a song called Biwobe.
Biwobe depicts the plight facing Uganda at the moment as the unrest about the mistreatment of Members of parliament in the Arua by election takes center stage in the county and beyond its borders.
The social conscious song with a largely political message with lots of empathy for those suffering also calls upon those in power to change their ways besides calling for peace and unity among the masses.
Like a patriotic Ugandan, he ends it with a blessing for his country and our motto ‘For God and My Country’ praying that peace prevails at the end of it all.
