David Bahati, the state minister for planning in the ministry of finance on Saturday advised couples to be faithful to each other and to work towards development.
“Love each other, be faithful and work tirelessly for development “the minister said.
The minister was attending a wedding ceremony in Ndorwa west constituency.
Mr Patrick Besigye Keihwa, the chairman kabale district, while attending the same function discouraged people from over drinking alcohol, mostly the one that is always packed in sachets.
He warned that Kabale district Council is yet to pass a bylaw that prohibits the selling of sachets in the district.
“It’s unfortunate that most people have resorted to taking this cheap alcohol yet it’s very dangerous ” Keihwa said.
