The Kigezi leaders have also come out to condemn the government of Uganda, after many other bodies like the European Union and other NGO’S after the brutal arrest and torture that was recently inflicted on 3 lawmakers and other 29 in Arua district.
According to the chairperson of the inter religious council of Kigezi, Rev fr Gaetano Batanyenda, the government of Uganda , all that was displayed in Arua proves that we are in a dictatorial regime.
Below was Batanyenda’s statements.
“We are all deeply feeling very sad and very concerned about the brutal torture inflicted on Hon.Kyagulanyi (Bobi Wine),among others.
This act is an evidence that Uganda is truly being led by merciless, bloodthirsty, inhuman, and callous tormentors disguising as leaders.
Miserably, on top of all that torture, faking charges on these individuals.
Most assuredly, Uganda shall never be safe in hands of a few human gods disguising as democratic leaders.
To Bobi Wine, and others affected, that’s not the end,may God heal you and restore your wisdom.
Finally, We urge President Museven to kindly to reconsider repentance as soon as possible if at all he truly believes in God.
