Vipers Sports club has unveiled Mexican tactician Javier Martinez Espinosa as its new head coach after the departure of Da Costa a couple of weeks back.
Edward Golola who has been caretaker head coach returns back to his role of deputy as the Mexican tactician Martinez promises to deliver more silverware not only locally but regionally and on the continent as well.
The 46 year old South American ended his playing career at Club Athletico in Guatamela before taking on coaching duties at Club di Futbol Pachuca, Cruz Azul and Deportivo Carcha before being named Technical Director at Juventus Managua in Nicaragua.
It is from Nicaragua that he came to Uganda to take on the Head Coach role at Vipers Soprts club and while unveiling him club President Lawrence Mulindwa said he has the experience to take the club forward.
Martinez said he needs about 3 weeks to assess his players but added that from what he has seen so far the club has some great talent in its ranks.
