Recently police summoned Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu alias Bobi Wine to answer tentative charges of disobedience of a statutory duty contrary to Section 116 of Penal Code Act and illegal assembly following his social media and Mobile money tax protest.
The summons were made through a letter addressed to the speaker of parliament, Rebeçca Alitwala Kadaga and delivered on July 13.
Now today, Bobi Wine has today taken himself to Central Police Station (CPS) to honour the police summons.
However, the legislator has been accompanied by fellow opposition MPs as colleagues in the struggle against the taxes.
