The Uganda Christian University is less likely to be forgiving to its student who was sent to Luzira for sharing her porn video but has been granted bail.
The university with strict immorality regulations has sent more students away for lesser other anti social conducts such as drinking alcohol.
According to a source at UCU, Rukundo who was released from jail on Tuesday on bail, will face a disciplinary action, for circulating her video while masturbating, an action which embarrased the university founded on christian principles.
UCU has proved that it has the highest number of students involved in social media sex scandals including some students who released an actual adult porn video.
Rukundo is a Mass Communication student at UCU’s main campus in Mukono town, 26km east of Kampala. She was released on Tuesday on bail amounting to sh0.5 million. Her sureties each would part with sh10 million if Rukundo fails to show up in court on August 3.
23 year old Rukundo got an asthmatic attack on Monday and failed to show up in court as expected, forcing Buganda Road Chief Magistrate, Ms Mary Babirye to demand that Rukundo is presented the next day.
Rukundo is jointly charged with blogger Kato Ashiraf alias Ashburg Katto who was released on Monday.
Last week the duo were charged with eight charges including producing and broadcasting pornographic video contrary to section 13(1) and (2) of the Anti- Pornography Act 2014.
Prosecution states that Rukundo in the year 2017 at Jordan Courts Hostel, in Mukono district produced a video of herself masturbating while pushing her finger in and out of her vagina in a highly graphic manner. She was aided by Kato Ashiraf to share the images further.
Katto is facing charges of broadcasting Rukundo’s pornographic video on the social media.
Prosecution states that Katto on May 24, 2018 in Kampala in the Kampala district, broadcasted on the social media a picture of Rukundo depicting her naked self from the breasts down to the knees in a highly graphic, vivid, explicit and offensive/noxious manner intended to arouse the sexual feelings of whoever may happen to see it.
