Players at Kansanga based university KIU are still in doubt whether they will be able to represent Uganda for the forthcoming Wood ball World Cup that is going to take place in Thailand.
This was revealed by team members during a training session at Namboole.
Some of the players Gwaka Brian and Nagaba Charity said that they requested for funds from the university sports office but up to now nothing has been done.
Nagaba is a world cup champion who represented Uganda in China in 2014. She has also taken part in the World University games of the same year in Malaysia,also 2016 world cup in south Korea.
Whereas Gwaka is an upcoming star who has managed to scoop medals in various tournaments organised by the federation.
The two are looking for USD600 which is required by the federation to enable them cover accommodation and feeding.
