The president for the Conservative Party(CP) John Ken Lukyamuzi AKA the man has assured Citizens Coalition for Electoral Democracy in Uganda (CCEDU) that what they are going through can be fought constitutionally.
This comes following Electoral Commission’s ban on CCEDU’s work in regards to election observation and voters education.
CCEDU in a meeting that was held at their offices in Nsambya, was joined by activists, politicians as well as the general public in exchanging ideas as to why Electoral Commission had to shut down CCEDU’s work.
“Lets all come together and fight for our rights as citizens. No one will fight for us. These people are fight-able and we must win them.” Said Lukyamuzi.
Lukyamuzi advised government to come out and throw more light regarding the matter other than misguiding the people.
Action Aid was among the few who promised to keep fighting with CCEDU since they also believe that they have passed through the same out of no reason yet they managed to overcome everything.
