Incarcerated former police chief Gen Kale Kayihura has for the past three days refused to cooperate with his interrogators, including top security organs bosses.
The general who was airlifted to Kampala on Wednesday after he attempted to evade arrest, was asked to report to the chief of defense forces who had several questions for him.
Our sources however say Gen Kayihura refused to cooperate, demanding to speak to President Museveni himself, who he says ordered his arrest.
However, Gen Kayihura was told the circumstances have already changed and the earlier he adjusts to his new status, the better for him.
Kayihura who kept cursing, saying “this is madness”, was booked into Makindye military barracks to adjust to his new circumstances.
Experts analysing Gen Kayihura behaviour say, the former IGP could me looking down on the officers he is reporting to, and believes that the President owes him some respect.
